APS Has Modified The VW Golf GTI — No Cosmetic Changes, Only MORE Power

Most tuners prefer body kits over power upgrades, while most body upgrades do come with power upgrades, you never really see power upgrades alone. It seems as if APS has turned the tables on this. The UK tuner has created a new package that consists of a Stage One engine performance kit that is limited to an ECU upgrade which will increase engine power by 40-horsepower.

The power boost allows for an overall of 250-horsepower with a total of 292lb-ft of torque. APS has said that the Golf GTI’s 0-96km/h sprint will come in at 6.2 seconds, which is seven tenths of a second faster than the standard time.

Along with new acceleration figures comes a new top speed set at 250km/h.
