Barrichello Has Signed With Williams For Four Times The Current Salary

Rubens Barrichello has said that he will leave Brawn GP at the end of the 2009 season. The Brazilian driver will move to Williams for the 2010 season where he will apparently have the option to then extend his contract for another year.

At the moment Rubens currently earns a $2-million annual salary, where it was said that Williams will pay him four-time more, plus win bonuses.

The current standings see Rubens Barrichello battling team mate Jenson Button for the championship title. Rubens has 71 points, while Button has 85 points.

Reports said that Nico Hulkenberg, the Williams test driver, could be Barrichello’s teamie for 2010.
