Opel has released its new Corsa ecoFLEX which is powered by a 1.3-litre CDTI diesel engine using a variable geometry turbocharger. The engine will allow the Corsa to move towards a greener future of lower emissions and better fuel consumption.
The power on the new Corsa ecoFLEX has been boosted by 28 percent, while the CO2 emissions are down by 10 percent. The ecoFLEX will pump out 190Nm of torque and it will only use 3.7-litres of fuel per 100 km.
These figures have been obtained by adding a longer transmission gear ratio. The 95-horsepower diesel engine will get to a top speed of 177km/h and it will emit under 100g/km of CO2.
Exterior changes for the Corsa ecoFLEX include a lowered suspension, and new air flows via the air intakes. There are new wheels with more efficient wheel caps as well.
