The 2010 Porsche 911 has now officially beaten it’s old time around the Nurburgring. The 2010 911 has not only beaten the predecessor’s time, but instead, it literally whipped it ass. A 10 second improvement means that Porsche have changed something really important on the new model.
Porsche’s 2010 911 will have 3.8-litre flat-six boxer turbocharged engine with 500-horsepower (372kW) and 516lb-ft of torque. There is a 7-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission and a 0-100km/h time of 3.2 seconds.
The new lap time of 7 minutes 39 seconds is quick, however, it’s still quite a far way behind the 2010 Nissan GT-R that holds a time of 7 minutes 27.
