Reports State That BMW Will Stop Production Of The 5-Series For The New GT

New reports have said that BMW might soon end production on their 5-Series models. The Bavarian automaker has apparently stopped taking orders for the 5-Series in order to make space for production of the brand new 5-Series Gran Turismo. The new hatchback-wagon will undergo development after December, which is the same month that the automaker will stop creating the 5-Series.

Dealer’s may apparently only take ’special orders’ for 5-Series models, and yeah, we don’t know what a ’special order’ is. Dealers with extra 5′ers will of course be able to off load their stock without any problems.
