The Maserati Kuba Concept — Nothing But Pure Rendered Speculation

Designer, Andrey Trofimchuk has described this a ‘brutal crossover’. While he might have been a bit too nice in describing the name, we have to give him credit for his hard work and dedication in creating something really new, and unique.
The design project boasts the Maserati badge on the front grille which sits pretty low to the ground, while the rest of the front end houses sloping headlights with chrome surrounds and rounded fog lights.
On the sides of brutal-Maserati-crossover there are LED indicator strips along with tinted window, side gills and large wheels. The doors seems to split in the middle as well. The rear end is designed similar to a coupe, which allows for the crossover name.
Although this is only a design sketch, it’s always fun to speculate about which engine range could be found underneath the bonnet. It seems that the designer opted for a petrol or diesel powered unit instead of going the newly popular electric route. Good for him.
At the moment Maserati does not have a crossover model, and perhaps something similar to this could find its way to the line up in the near future.
