Tokyo 2009: The Daihatsu e:S Concept

Daihatsu has unveiled their new fuel-efficient e:S concept at the Tokyo Motor Show. The concept is aimed at boasting Daihatsu’s stance on fuel and environmental friendliness. The concept is a three door-hatchback with a length similar to that of the iQ.

The small e:S Concept will be a four seater with almost no performance. Power will come from a 660cc engine with three cylinders and a start-stop system. The entire car weighs in at 700kg and it will average 30kilometers to the litre.

Daihatsu has not yet decided to comment on production plans.
