Nissan GT-R Hybrid To use Infiniti Essence Drivetrain?

We recently spoke about Nissan’s GT-R with hybrid power. The latest news about this now states that the hybrid powertrain for 2012 could be a battery powered electric drive unit from teh 2009 Infiniti Essence concept.
The GT-R would have to loose some serious weight to use the hybrid powertrain as the battery packs aren’t exactly lightweight. The total power is expected to be about 441kW or 600-horsepower.
