The VW Polo BlueMotion Is Now Available For Order In Germany

The new Volkswagen BlueMotion is currently available for order in Germany. The pre-order price is set at €16,500 and this includes a three-cylinder diesel engine with a fuel consumption rated at 3.3-litres per 100km.
This is apparently the world’s most fuel efficient five-seater, according to VW.
VW achieved this fuel rating by modifying the engine to 75-horsepower and then adding a start-stop and energy recovery system. The weight will be 1,150kilograms.
Other changes to the body include a closed-off radiator grille, underbody panels, and 15-inch wheels with low-rolling resistance tires.
The CO2 emissions are set at 87g/km.
