Ferrari’s First Hybrid In The Shape Of The 599 Will Be At The Geneva Show

Ferrari has said that they will unveil their Ferrari 599 Hybrid at the Geneva Motor Show in March. The 599 will seat two people and it was designed by Pininfarina. This model is expected to boast petrol/electric power which runs on lithium-ion battery packs.

There will be KERS — kinetic energy recovery system – followed by regenerative braking and start/stop functionality.

The end result will see a 35% drop in fuel consumption, which means a 14mpg fuel rating.
