Honda South Africa Recalls 2002-2008 Jazz Models Due To Short Circuit Problem

Honda South Africa has recalled the previous generation Jazz in an attempt to fix a problem with the driver’s door power-window. The switches in the door might caught for a short circuit.
The short circuit could lead to a fire in the car, and this previous occurred back in September 2009.
As a precaution, Honda is recalling the 2002-2008 model Jazz, the dealers will inspect the models and if water intrusion is observed, the switch will be replaced. Each case will receive a counter measure to prevent water intrusion.
