South Africa – Review My Ride: Kevin’s 340kW 2004 Subaru WRX STI

We were recently running a Review My Ride feature on our partner site for South Africa, StreetCars.co.za, where we would essentially just review a readers car.

Now, because we’re just keeping that site alive and pushing a more South African related market with EasyCarBlog, we are going to move our RMR’s here.

The latest RMR is a Subaru owned by Kevin Gilbert.

Kevin lives in Gauteng, South Africa and he has a hefty list of upgrades for his Scooby.

The power is set at 340kW with 600Nm of torque, and this is no toy. He’s put a lot of work, and effort into the car and he’s done a superb job.

    All that work n only 340 kw ova 600 nm something doesn’t add up

    Usually it’s good to have double the amount of Nm as kW for a turbocharged car.

    600 isn’t too bad. A lot of people don’t always achieve this, just depends on who did the work and how it was done
