The 2010 Chrysler 300C Has Been Released For The UK Market

The Detroit Auto Show should see a new redesigned Chrysler 300 sedan make an appearance. The new 2010 300C range will be available in four different versions, the 300C SE, SR and SRT units which will be powered by 215-horsepower 3.0-litre V6 diesel engines, or the SRT-8 425-HP 6.1-litre HEMI petrol unit.

The 300C will be available in the mid-size range for the UK market and it is ready for sale. The UK 300C will include leather seats, ESP, ABS, new air bags, heated front seats, dual zone climate control, LED ambient lighting, front fog lamps, parking sensors, Xenon headlamps and a new rain sensing windscreen wiper set. The wheels will be in the size of 18-inches where the in-car entertainment system will include a Boston Acoustics sound system.

There will be various other technologies available in side, and it all depends on the options which you choose.

The 300C’s will include a 0-100km/h time of 8.7 seconds along with a standard automatic transmission which can reach a speed of up to 230Km/h.

The range topping 300C SRT-8 will boast 425-horsepower with 420lb-ft of torque. The 0-100km/h time will be 5.0 seconds.

There will be a pricing which starts at about £23,995 for the bottom range model, while the SRT-8 will start at £41,795.

    Why bother ? This car is already a dinosaur. Chrysler needs a small car for Europe – something on a Fiat platform ?

    Yeah agreed.

    I don’t really see much point to this car. Chrysler have now got the backing and technology to create smaller cars for the UK market. They should get down to it.
