The Citroen DS3 Racing Special — Coming To Geneva With 200-Hp
Auto Shows, Miscellaneous | Dean | February 19, 2010 at 19:11Citroen are currently readying their DS3 Racing sport model for the 2010 Geneva Motor Show. The new special edition of the DS3 will boast a 1.6-litre turbocharged engine, a modified chassis and a load of styling changes. There will only be a limited production of 1,000 units.
Power will be a four-cylinder turbocharged engine, and it will pump out about 200-horsepower with 275Nm of torque. There will be a reconfigured ECU and special tail pipe on the Citroen Racing model.
Citroen’s Racing mechanics have modified the steering system on the car, they have made the suspension a bit stiffer and they have widened the front and rear tracks of the vehicle.
There will be ESP, and new brakes on the sport model as well.
Styling includes front and rear spoilers, side skirts, a rear diffuser, and a load of D3 and Citroen Racing graphics. There will be carbon fibre pieces for the bumper, and 18-inch wheels for the road.
Inside will have bucket seats, and carbon trim for the dashboard and center console, steering wheel embellisher, armrests and door side mouldings.
