The New Pagani C9 Caught Testing In South Africa
Featured, South Africa, Spy News, Tuning News | Dean | February 5, 2010 at 01:03Our main man BlueIce has caught the new Pagani C9 testing in South Africa. He caught the car refueling at a petrol station in Upington.
Upington is pretty hot, as it falls part of the Kalahari desert.
The new Pagani C9 will boast a 6.0-litre V12 engine with 700-horsepower, and this is proven by the new front clip as well as the large air intakes at the rear of the car. The torque is expected to be over 1,000Nm.
The new Pagani supercar will be created in a brand new facility based in Modena where the firm will create 40 units per year. This exceeds previous production rates from the company.
Pagani will use a lot of design cues from the aviation industry, and this essentially means that the aerodynamics will be enhanced, along with the carbon-titanium chassis. There will be a new design for the car from the group up, and there are 3,770 new components available.
Pricing has obviously not yet been revealed, but a forewarning — car insurance will definitely be a killer.
Expect the reveal to take place in Paris, later this year.
Thanks again, BlueIce.
