2012 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Roadster — Revealed Through Patent Sketches

Carscoop has come across new images which seem to be the patent designs for the 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Roadster. The images reveal the supercar in a lot of detail, and they hint at many design changes.

This roadster model will have ordinary doors followed by a retractable roof. We’re only expecting ordinary doors, however the vehicle might still boast scissor-like SLR Roadster doors. Flashy, and expensive.

The premiere for this model will be around late 2010, early 2011 and we’re expecting sales to start late next year. The power will be similar to the current model, and this means about 571-horsepower from a 6.3-litre V8 engine.
