Alfa Romeo Will Add The MultiJet II Turbo Diesel Motor To Their MiTo Range

Alfa Romeo has said that their new range of diesel technology will find its way into the MiTo range for the UK market. The new MultiJet II engine will be a 1.3-litre JTDM II diesel unit with Start&Stop technology, and it will also boast a Diesel Particulate Filter. There will be about 95-bhp of power, along with 200Nm of torque.

The gearbox will be a five-speed manual, and this will allow for a 0-100km/h time of 11.6 seconds. The fuel consumption will be a staggering 4.3-litres per 100km.

Pricing starts at £13,995, £14,815 and £15,785.
