B&B Boosts The VW Scirocco R To 266kW

Volkswagen’s R-line Scirocco has undergone a nifty little customization from B&B. There are now three brand new levels of performance on the 195kW hot-hatch from VW.

The first changes include updates to the ECU and electronic injection, this allowed for 228kW of power with 410Nm of torque. B&B rates that the top speed should be around 275km/h.

Following this, is level two. Level two boasts a new exhaust downpipe, optimized air induction, air flows, ignition and new fuel injection. The result; a 238kW engine with 435Nm of torque at 2,000rpm. The top speed on this level is expected to be around 279km/h.

Finally, the top of the range kit. Level 3. This modification unit includes a new B&B turbocharger, a sport exhaust and air intake along with all of the above changes. The power for this package sits at 266kW with 480Nm of torque. The top speed is 1km/h more than level 2, which means it slightly ‘meh’.
