Nissan’s Leaf Has Been Priced For The US Market

The Nissan Leaf, and all-electric vehicle, will go for sale in the US market for $25,280, and this includes federal tax. This model is more expensive than the traditional petrol and diesel vehicles from the automaker.

There will be a body which is slightly larger than the Tiida and it will have five doors. The power will come from an electric motor which pumps out 107-horsepower with 280Nm of torque. The top speed is expected to be 140km/h.

Nissan has said that the battery can recharged to 80% in under 30 minutes, and this will be through a quick charger from a normal home outlet. Personal charging docks for the Leaf will cost an extra $2,200 — including installation fees.
