SEAT’s IBE Concept Has Received The Go Go Go!

Seat has told AutoCar that they are planning to introduce the IBE model. We quote, the SEAT IBE “will be made.” The electric concept found its way to the last Geneva Motor Show where it was revealed for the first time.

The SEAT 2+2 EV coupe will have a petrol/electric set up and it will be based on the Volkswagen Golf platform. Following the EV will be a plug-in hybrid model which is expected to be released during 2014.

Spain is hoping that all of their electric vehicles will save natural resources and other energy sources by about 30 percent.

The SEAT IBE will have a 101-horsepower motor with 200Nm of torque. The 0-100km/h time will be 9.4 seconds.
