The All Electric Fiat 500 From Atomik Cars
Miscellaneous, Tuning News | Dean | March 19, 2010 at 00:12Atomik Cars have created an all-electric version of the Fiat Abarth 500. The French tuners will reveal the car next month where it will have a 0-100km/h time of 5.6 seconds. This is about 1.5-seconds faster than the standard Abarth 500, and it’s pretty impressive for an electric-vehicle.
There is no top speed figure, however, the quarter mile run will take about 14 seconds. The top speed is guesstimated to be over 180km/h.
Power will come from a lithium-ion battery from the lithium iron phosphate and this essentially means that it is heavier, and that it takes a bit longer to break in.
Styling changes will include a new front bumper, new fog lights and larger wheel arches for new wheels.
There will be a limited production of 50 units and it will be revealed on the 15th of April.
