Alfa Romeo has decided that today is the day to release a few new details, with a truck load of new images for the Giulietta hatchback. Alfa’s Giulietta will launch in the May month for the European market where it will replace the four-door 147.

The engine range for the Giulietta will include both four- and five-cylinder engines, along with a turbocharger or two.

The first unit is a 173kW 1750 TBi petrol motor for the Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde. Naturally, this would be the range-topping version of the hatchback.

Each and ever one of these motors will boast Start/Stop systems to improve fuel economy and CO2 emissions. There will be six-speed manual transmissions and also the option for dual-clutch automatic.

Different driving modes include All weather, Normal and Dynamic. These modes will adjust the suspension accordingly.

A set of 16, 17, and 18-inch wheel will be available, while other features include LED daytime lights, new LED rear light clusters and an ergonomically designed interior.
