British Cops Get Serious About The Law: New Jaguar XF Police Cars

British Police are about to get a bit more serious as they have received the first pursuit versions of the Jaguar XF. All of the chase-cars are Diesel S models powered by the 3.0-litre V6 engine with 275-horsepower and 443lb-ft of torque.

The 0-100km/h time is 5.9 seconds.

Geoff Cousins, Managing Director for Jaguar Cars UK, said: “Police forces across the country have been evaluating the XF and we are delighted that the team at the Central Motorway Police Group has chosen Jaguar to join its fleet.”

Special features include a roof mounted light bar with 3,600 flashing lights, side alley lights, white LED lights inside the grille, side mounted blue flashing lights and rear light clusters. Overall, a lot of lights.
