Mountune’s Ford RS Package Has Been Priced In The UK

Remember the Mountune package for the Ford Focus RS? The tuning kit which makes the RS better than the limited edition RS500 has now been priced at Priced £1,995 for the United Kingdom.

Mountune’s MP350 was developed alongside Ford Team RS and it offers power similar, well better, than that of the RS500.

Power is boosted by 15% for an overall of 257kW with 460Nm of torque. The tuner added a bigger air filter, a new intercooler and a new exhaust pipe. Following this, they modified the ECU and added a better fuel pump.

There will be a new 0-100km/h time of 5.4 seconds, which is 0.2 seconds quicker than the upcoming RS500 model. The MP350 RS will reach 160km/h in 12.2 seconds, and 241km/h in 35.0 seconds.

The MP350 kit has been developed to meet some of this additional demand and allow enthusiasts with cars in standard tune to enjoy even greater performance, without endangering their warranty. If you couldn’t get an RS500, which sold out within seven days, this is the next best thing.” said Mark Simpson, Ford’s EU MD.
