Peugeot Adds Their RCZ Coupe To The 24-Hour Nurburgring Race

Peugeot are planning to take part in the 24 hour Nurburgring race which starts on the 15th of May. There will be two versions of the RCZ sports coupe on the track.

One of these Peugeot RCZ models will be raced by a French crew, while the other will be occupied by Germans. There will be four drivers per car.

Peugeot has signed up to the 24 hour race as they are celebrating 200 years of branding, as well as the new RCZ coupe.

The racers will be entered into the D1T category, a diesel car category which boasts engine displacements between 1,700 and 2,000 cc’s of displacement. The RCZ will use a 2.0-litre DCi turbodiesel motor with 147kW.
