Toyota Has Confirmed Reports About The Lexus GX 460 Rollover

Toyota has confirmed that previous Consumer Report regarding the Lexus GX 460 is indeed, true. The GX 460 is prone to rollover, which could — or most probably would — cause the loss of lives in an accident.

“They duplicated Consumer Reports’ results on the GX 460 and they are currently evaluating potential remedies, but at this point there is [sic] no details of what the remedy is,” Lexus spokesman Bill Kwong told the New York Times.

The potential rollover is said to occur as the electronic stability control is slow. Other SUV’s allow the driver to regain control a lot faster than the GX 460.

Lexus should find the cause of the problem within a week, where we will hear what the brand is willing to do to rectify this.
