VW Will Race In The 24Hours Of Nurburgring With Three Scirocco GT24-CNG’s

Volkswagen is planning to enter the 24-hours Nurburgring Race which takes place over the 12-16th of May. The German brand will use three natural gas-powered Scirocco GT24 CNG vehicles to race around the track.
The three VW Scirocco racers will use a 2.0-litre TSI engine with modifications which allow for the firm to use natural-gas as the propellant. Power has been tweaked to 330-horsepower, while the brakes have been enhanced.
Body changes include a new front bumper, and better lights for new visibility at night.
