Alfa Romeo Add Two New Engines And A Special Trim Package To The Brera And Spider

Alfa Romeo in the United Kingdom will add a couple of new engines to, both, the Brera Coupe and Spider Convertible range. Following the engine additions will be a brand new “Italia Independent” trim level for both vehicles.

The first engine for the two cars will be the 1.75-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol unit with 200-horsepower and 300Nm of torque. Acceleration figures amount to 0-100km/h in 7.7 seconds.

Pricing for the Brera and Spider 1750 TBi start at £25,205 and £27,205.

Alfa’s second addition to the range will be a 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine with 170-horsepower and 360Nm of torque. The 0-100km/h time comes in at 8.8 and 9.0 seconds respectively. Expect a top speed of 217km/h.

Pricing starts at £24,995 and £26,995.

Alfa Romeo’s Italia Independent trim level will be available for every engine. The package will include a unique matte black titanium finish, a set of 18-inch black opaque ‘turbine’ alloy wheels, red brakes and an 8C-based fuel-cap.

Inside features a black leather steering wheel and gearknob with red stitching, carbon fibre pieces here and there, new sports dials, black leather seats, aluminium sport pedals and sat-nav/radio with Blue&Me support.
