Irmscher Modifies The Opel Astra

The first images and details of the Irmscher modified Opel Astra has arrived online. The Astra i1600 hatchback from Irmscher contains a tuned turbocharged engine with a looks package to differentiate it from the standard model.

Opel’s 1.6-litre turbocharged engine in the Astra has been modified to push out an extra 20-horsepower and 65Nm of torque. Overall figures now stand at 200-horsepower with 295Nm of torque.

Cosmetic wise, the tuner dropped the suspension by 30 mm, added a set of 18 or 20-inch wheels, added a front spoiler, side skirts, a rear diffuser and a roof spoiler. The front grille has been finished in carbon fibre.
