It’s Back! The Fiat Uno For South America

Fiat has revealed the brand new Uno for South America. The Italian automaker has revived the legendary nameplate in a completely new body with loads of extra technology and safety features — of course.

The Uno will be compact, and practical. It was created as a people carrier — which means, looks were traded for simplicity.

Fiat’s Uno measures in at 3,770mm long, 1,643mm wide and 1,490mm high. There is a 2,370mm wheelbase.

The Uno fits between Fiat’s Panda and Grande Punto in terms of size.

Engines start with a Flex Fuel ethanol/petrol unit with a 1.0-litre displacement and 56kW. The second motor will be a 1.4-litre 63kW petrol unit. Both of these engines will connect to a 5-speed manual transmission only.

There will be an SUV-styled “Way” coming too, however it will not house all-wheel-drive.
