New Engines For The 2011 Skoda Range

Europe will enhance their Yeti, Octavia and Superb models with a new powertrain for 2011.

The Yeti will boast a new 1.4-litre TSI with 122-horsepower, a 2.0-litre TDI CR DPF turbo diesel with 140-horsepower and a 170-horsepower 2.0-litre TDI CR DPF turbo diesel with four-wheel-drive.

Skoda’s Octavia range will include the 170-horsepower 2.0-litre TDI CR DPF common rail diesel engine. This motor will connect to a manual or automatic engine which uses front-wheel-drive. There will be DSG support later in the year.

Skoda’s flagship Superb will use a 2.0-litre 200-horsepower petrol engine connected to a six-speed DSG gearbox.
