There’s been talks about cooperation between Damiler AG and Renault-Nissan. The details in this article do not concern small engines, and small platforms, no. The details revolve around Infiniti’s M and G replacements using the Mercedes-Benz E-Class platform.

Reports from Japan’s Best Car magazine say that this is one of the partnership plans, however nothing is official just yet.
