Special Edition Subaru Cosworth Impreza STi CS400 Has Been Revealed

First images of the Subaru Cosworth Impreza STi CS400 has been released. The name states that there is a partnership between Subaru and Cosworth and this means power and body upgrades will be added.

The looks have been enhanced as the two firms added a new front bumper, a mesh grille, foglights and a rear spoiler. There is a set of 18-inch wheels as well as a new paint job which comes with a choice of three different colours: silver, dark grey and red.

Inside the Cosworth Subaru there will be new Recaro front seats and a black centre console.

Power from the 2.5-litre turbocharged engine has been boosted to 295kW from 227kW. The torque has been upgraded to 540Nm while the 0-100km/h time will be 3.7 seconds.

Changes to performance come from a redesigned head gasket, a new turbocharger, new pistons, new connecting rods and a tweaked ECU. The body has been lowered by 10mm, while the track has been made 12mm wider.

Pricing starts at £49,995 and there will only be 75 units created.
