Details & Images: The 2011 Honda Accord

Honda has revealed their United States specification Accord sedan and coupe for 2011. The new models will boast aerodynamic upgrades, better fuel consumption and new features.

Starting with the exterior, there will be a new grille, a revised set of bumpers and new alloy wheels. The rear will consist of new tail lamps.

The inside will house repositioned buttons for the climate-control system, new upholstery and an updated instrument panel. The steering wheel will have paddle-shifters mounted onto it along with USB Audio connectivity, a rear view camera and sat-nav. Most of these features will only be available on the EX-L trim level.

Engine-wise the Accord will have a 2.4-litre engine with 177- and 190-horsepower. The larger 3.5-litre V6 engine will boast 271-horsepower with good fuel consumption, as the aerodynamics and engine has been improved.

Gearboxes include a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed automatic as an option. The Automatic box will come as a standard addition to the V6 models.
