Fiat Are Working On A Baby Hybrid City Car

Reports have hinted that Fiat are currently working on an entry-level hybrid powertrain. There will be a turbocharged 0.9-litre engine with a hybridized dual-clutch transmission which sends power to the wheels.

The transmission will house a small electric motor, and this will power the vehicle at low speeds.

This system will allow for emissions of only 80g/km.

It’s hinted that the Fiat Topolino City might use the above powertrain.
