Contradicting news regarding the McLaren MP4-12C supercar has led to McLaren’s PR Chief, Mark Harrison, stating that the supercar maker will not build a 2+2 MP4-12C. Recent reports from Autobild hinted that the company was looking to create a 2+2 version of the car.

Details on the 2+2 story were scarce, but the source claimed that there would be small seats for small children.

InsideLine decided to research the story where they found that this is completely false. McLaren has no intention of creating a 2+2 version of the supercar.
