Mercedes-Benz Sells More Cars Than Audi During May

Daimler has announced that Mercedes-Benz has beat Audi for second place in luxury vehicle sales for May. Mercedes-Benz sold 6,500 more models than Audi during May, however Audi is still 12,000 models ahead for year-to-date sales.
Mercedes has been holding third place since January, where BMW has been in first place. BMW only sold 375 more vehicles than BMW during the May month.
“This excellent sales result keeps us on course for a strong second quarter, in which we will post double-digit growth,” sales and marketing executive Joachim Schmidt said in a written statement.
