Revealed — The Volkswagen Polo V Sedan

Volkswagen has decided to reveal their Polo V Sedan in Russia. The new model will be built in Kaluga – about 160km outside of Moscow. Volkswagen will reveal the Polo sedan at the 2010 Moscow Motor Show in August.
Naturally, the sedan is larger than the hatchback. Sizes start with a 4.38-meter length, a 1.7m width and a 1.46m height. The wheelbase is set at 2.55m. All of these figures result in more storage space and better seating space for occupants – especially those on the back seat.

Russia will only receive one engine, a 1.6-litre 77kW motor connected to a 5-speed manual or 6-speed TipTronic gearbox.

The cost will start at 399,000 Roubles (US$12,800 / €10,400).

Because South African dealers sold the previous Polo sedan, we might receive the new one.
