South Africa Gets The Next-Generation Volkswagen CrossPolo

The next-generation CrossPolo will launch in South Africa with a higher ride height of 15millimeteres. There will be a total power output of 77kW from the engine when connected to the 5-speed manual transmission.

VW’s CrossPolo will include 17-inch wheels, a set of roof rails, front fog lights and larger air inlets. The body can come in five different colours: Magma Orange, Deep Black, Reflex Silver, Flash Red and Terra Beige Metallic.

Inside the CrossPolo, VW has added two-tone fabric sport seats, a rear bench, and the CrossPolo tag signatured into the front seats. There will be a leather covered steering wheel, and equipment includes such as electric adjustable and heated door mirrors, electric window lifts all around, illuminated make-up mirrors in the sun visors, multi-function display (MFA) and central locking with RF remote control.

Engines include a 1.6-litre 77kW motor with 155Nm of torque in petrol form, and 250Nm of torque when using diesel.

Pricing starts at R198,500 for the 1.6 77kW CrossPolo Comfortline, and R224,500 for the 1.6 77kW CR TDI CrossPolo Comfortline.
