Toyota Trademarks FR-S Badge — Could This Be The FT-86 Production Name?

Toyota has applied for the trademark “FR-S” in both Canada and the United States. The trademark leads to speculation where many are saying that this could be the production badge for the Toyota Fr-86 Concept currently being developed.
It’s been hinted that the badge could mean: front-engine, rear-wheel-drive sports car
The trademark was registered on the 27th of May where Toyota referenced it as: Automobiles and structural parts thereof.
While Toyota is moving forward with their project, we’re still waiting for Subaru news – as they are the other half of the project.
