2011 Kia Sportage: Details, Images & Pricing

Kia has announced their 2011 Sportage compact crossover, for the US-market, which is available in three trim levels, Base, LX and EX.

The launch of the Kia Sportage will see a 2.4-litre four-cylinder motor with 176-horsepower, where a 2.0-litre turbocharged GDI petrol unit with over 270-horsepower will arrive a few months after launch.

Standard features on the 2011 Sportage include ABS, Electronic Stability Control and six airbags. The drive-layout will be offered in both front and all wheel drive when connected to a six speed manual or automatic gearbox.

The Base model comes with air-conditioning, power windows, power door locks and mirrors, 16-inch alloy wheels and SIRIUS Satellite Radio. Following this, the LX will offer a 6-speed automatic gearbox with exterior mirrors boasting turn signals, privacy glass, keyless entry and multi-way front seats.

The last model, the EX, will offer 18-inch wheels, leather wrapping around the steering wheel and gearknob, dual-zone climate control, and an air-conditioned glove box.

Pricing starts at $18,990 for the base and raises to $23,990 for the EX.
