Mazda RX-7 Coming In 2013 — Electric Turbocharging?
Miscellaneous, Rumours | Dean | July 23, 2010 at 17:40
Mazda are currently working on their RX-7 which should release in the 2013 year. The RX-7, provisionally named the RX-9, could use a Renesis rotary engine which offers a large boost in power. The increase in power would come from new electric technologies which Mazda are working on.
“We’re testing the rotary in conjunction with technologies including an electric turbocharger,” said an unnamed source.
More power sure sounds good, and Mazda will need it to compete against the sporty VW and BMW vehicles.
