MTE has revealed a highly camouflaged, and modified Golf IV R32. The German tuner added a turbocharger along with a new intercooler system and larger injectors, a modified cylinder head, forged pistons, high performance camshafts and an optimized ECU to the sporty Golf.

All of these modifications allow the 3.2-litre turbocharged V6 engine with 2.2-bar boost to push out 589kW with 1,200Nm of torque. The quarter mile run takes 10.7 seconds at 216km/h.

Because of the insane amount of power for a small front-wheel-drive car, MTE added a Sachs two-disc sintered clutch along with a KW Coilover ‘Club Sport’ suspension system, and a Brembo brake system.
