New Images: The 2011 Hyundai Elantra / Avante

Hyundai has released images of their all new 2011 Elantra, or Avante, sedan which goes on sale next week in South Korea. The Avante is the Korean name, and this model incldes a 1.6-litre Gamma Direct Injection engine with 104kW of power and 171Nm of torque.

The engine on the new 2011 Hyundai Elantra / Avante will connect to a 6-speed manual gearbox for a fuel rating of 5.8-litres per 100km. As usual, the automatic gearbox is an optional extra.

For North America the Elantra should arrive with the 1.6-litre GDI engine as well as a new 2.0-litre motor.
