Porsche are groaning about Nissan’s latest advertising campaign which has them beat, 13 times – or so. The campaign involves BMW, Audi and Porsche, however only Porsche are sad about what the Japanese automaker has done.
Nissan’s attention-seeking campaign sees, what seems to be a 350Z, boasting the Porsche, BMW and Audi logo with a series of tally marks next to each. The marks represent the amount of times that Nissan has beat that rival at the Nurburgring.
Porsche said that Nissan would need to remove the logo before they take legal action for copyright infringement, and Nissan responded by changing the logo to the word ‘Porsche.’
