clutchd-com-porsche-cayman-club-sport-rendering Rumours, and reports, state that Porsche are working on a lightweight version of the Cayman. The Cayman Club Sport, or CS, will use aluminium parts and lighter 19-inch wheels to keep the total mass to a minimum. It’s possible that the weight could drop by about 74 to 84 kilograms.

Following all of this, the Cayman Club Sport will offer a Sport PASM suspension which lowers it by 20mm, a duck-tail rear spoiler and an Optional Track pack with a roll-cage.

Power comes from a 3.4-litre direct-injection 6-cylinder engine with 245kW of power — a 7kW increase over the standard Cayman S. The 0-100km/h time on this model will be 4.6 seconds, or so we hear.

There’s a chance that Porsche might reveal the CS model at the Los Angeles Motor Show in November.
