Pagani has said that their Zonda R has set an unofficial record around the Nurburgring as it lapped the track in 6minutes and 47 seconds. The images, from WorldCarFans, were taken during the run.

The driver is unknown for this test.

The time set by Pagani’s Zonda R is one faster than the record set by the Radical SR8 LM during August of 2009. However it’s unofficial therefore we’re not sure if it’s legit or not.

Pagani’s Zonda R costs €1.5 million, and its built in a limited production of 15 units. The 0-100km/h time is 2.7 seconds and the top speed is 351km/h. Power comes from a 6.0-litre V12 engine with 552kW and 710Nm of torque.
