Euro V Emission Regulations Claim Another One — Bye-Bye Focus ST

Ford has killed off their Focus ST as the Euro V emissions have become slightly too intense. The 2.5-litre turbocharged five-cylinder engine will not be able to meet the regulations for January, 2011 and this means that we’ll have to say good bye. For now.

The good news is that the next-generation Focus ST will be Euro V compliant. It’s expected to show its face at the Paris Motor Show in October.

There will be a 2.0-litre EcoBoost engine with about 186kW of power.
