First Details & Images: 2011 Dodge Charger Police Pursuit Vehicle

Dodge has released a few details on the 2011 Charger Police Pursuit Vehicle. Funny enough, there seems to be a police-vehicle market and with this being said, Dodge are following Chevrolet with the Caprice PPV and Ford with the Taurus Interceptor.

The Dodge Charger PPV boasts rear-wheel-drive with a strong suspension system, vented-disc brakes, 18-inch wheels and Electronic Stability Control. Naturally, there will be a load of police equipment however Dodge did not go into detail. But they say that there will be a Police Interface Module for easy equipment integration and use.

There’s no performance specifications, however the engines range includes a 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 with 216kW, and a 5.7-litre HEMI V8 motor with 268kW of power.

Orders start in September.
