Lotus Confirms The Evora S And Evora Automatic For Paris

Lotus has released an accidental confirmation that they will reveal two new Evora’s at the Paris Motor Show. A marketing and PR person for Lotus, Kevin Smith, wrote an email to Alastair Florance, the Lotus RP manager, asking if the Evora S and Evora Auto would be at the Paris Motor Show.

Florence replied by saying that “the Evora S and Evora Auto will be on the stand in Paris alongside the new car(s) not yet announced (let’s maintain the mystery for now!).”

And here’s the scandal: Smith ‘mistakenly’ CC’d in automotive media.

Florence followed up by saying that the email was not meant for external distribution and he asked everyone who received the email to delete it.

Sounds like a marketing plan to us. Thanks Lotus, we’ll be waiting for the Automatic Evora and Evora S.
